Dear team:  Thanks for a great weekend. Practices will start getting a little shorter because the kids are beginning to rest for the end of the season.

Monday -  1:45 – 3:30
The school starts Star Testing Tues – Friday.

Tuesday -  2:10 – 3:45
Wednesday – 2:10 – 3:45
Thursday – we swim vs. DP at DP. Divers will be diving 11 dives. At 2:30 they will dive 6 dives, and then at the break they will dive the remaining 5 dives.

Divers released at 1:00 – be at DP by 1:15
Swimmers released at 1:15 – be at DP, and  be in the pool at 2:00

Friday – 2:10 – 3:45

Saturday – we have our car wash to raise money to pay for the bleachers we have at the pool. The car wash will be at the Mobil station across the street from SMHS. Each athlete has been asked to sell  8 tickets, and everyone will be expected to sell the 8 tickets as each player’s contribution to our fundrasing campaign for this year.

We will set up two shifts of workers. Athletes will sign up today for one of two shifts.

Shift 1 — 7:45 – 10:15 a.m.

Shift 2 –  9:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

We also need as many parents as possible who are willing to be in attendance and help with the effort also.  A separate e-mail with more information about how you can help will be coming out today from Judi Koper–please try to respond right away and let her know if you can help.

Coach Ashton and I also have a Ventura Leauge coaching assignment for our U12 Club teams. We will make every effort to be at the car wash, though we do not have the games times yet. There was no other weekend to have the car wash and we were aware of this conflict but knew that the car wash had to go forward.  We are confident the kids will do a great job and it will be a success.

Hello team. Thanks to everyone for making Friday’s meet so wonderful. We could not have done it without all the parent support. So many helped and I just want everyone to know how appreciated it is from the coaches.

The kids swam great and dove well. I was very very proud of our team’s ability to get up and compete.
